On Saturday my Bobbo turned 30 years old! Wow, I feel old being married to a 30 year old. Rob's family likes to call him "the gift" since he was born 14 months after his brother. Thank goodness for "surprise" babies! I am so grateful to be married to such an awesome guy! He keeps my life fun and still cracks me up everyday - he is quite funny and annoyingly funny sometimes. He still sticks random objects under my side of the mattress. When will he ever stop hiding behind doors in the dark and jumping out to scare me? Maybe when he is 40 he will stop doing these things. Rob was the cutest little boy - I just love the cute picture of him above - he is going to die when he sees that I am posting these pictures.... Here are some more of Rob when he was little....
So for Rob's Birthday we headed down to Moab for some hiking/swimming/eating pizza. Those are some of Rob's favorite things! We had a blast. The boys were in heaven.
When Rob was little his family went to Moab and bought him a shirt that had a picture of the balancing rock on it. They took his picture in front of the rock with the shirt on and holding a post card with a picture of the rock on it. Well while we were in Moab we found the same shirt store that still makes the same shirts and we bought shirts for all the boys. Here is a picture of Lance in front of the rock with his shirt!
And here is Rob back in the 80's. Wow - and the rock is still balancing after all these years:)

Our good friends the Cary's joined us for a day and a half of our trip. Our kids had a blast together in the "party van." We drove all over Arches with these boys laughing their head's off!
We made it to the Delicate Arch - it took a lot of bribing Lance with treats - but we made it!
It was such a fun Birthday weekend. We are so grateful for Rob, he is such a great husband and Daddy!

Looks like so much fun! We went to Moab and Arches last month! The hikes there are so fun and our boys loved it!! Fun to see how much your boys look like Rob when he was younger.

You never cease to amaze me, Danners. What a great gift to Rob! I can't believe you hiked Delicate arch without breaking a sweat and wearing dangling earrings and with 3 boys. You just do it all with such beauty and grace.
